19th Century Patchwork/Reference Scraps

I recently bought a lovely batch of tiny French fabric swatches and scraps which inspired me to sort out a selection of small pieces of mostly 19th and some 18th century French printed cottons. All these pieces are small, some very worn but all are interesting pieces.

I have listed the first batch on my website, all range in price from £5.00 to £20.00, lovely little gems that are fantastic, unique reference pieces for study or perfect for cutting into tiny patchwork pieces for a special project.

New Antique & Vintage French Florals & Toiles

Imagine my excitement when a text from a dealer told me that they had just taken charge of a large batch of antique & vintage French fabrics and would I like to come and see them? Needless to say I didn't need too much encouragement, and ended up buying up most of what they had.

Here are some of them, a wonderful array of colour and pattern. Some are for sale through the website, others in my ebay shop, but it will take me a while to list them all!

A new Brocante in East Sussex: 'Chapelle Rouge'

Some friends of mine recently opened a large French Brocante-style Barn in West Sussex to sell their wonderful finds: rustic oak furniture, armoires etc, Linen sheets & bedding, textiles, kitchenalia, gardenalia (if there is such a word), architectural salvage and so much more. Here are a few photos I took on my visit today. If ever you are in West Sussex, it is definitely worth a visit.
