Beasts from fairy tales or myths & legends always capture our imaginations and remind us of thrilling tales told to us as children. Beauty & the Beast. Perhaps there is a bit of the Beast and some of the child in all of us, which is why we love these imaginative images so much.
The blue velvet image must be a phoenix. I love the symbolism of that bird. These are all just wonderful, but I particularly love this one.
ReplyDeleteI agree. The symbolism of the pheonix is very powerful, and also very empowering, there is always the chance to rise from the ashes, no matter what problems lay us low and knock the stuffing out of us...
